Duinrell. Quietest pitches?

Bit of an optimistic ask, but we're planning on camping at Duinrell next August for a week. Big and noisy sites are a bit out of our comfort zone, but big waterslides aren't... so wondered if anyone had camped there and could suggest which bits would be quietest?

Also after somewhere nice and quiet for second week- preferably good for biking.

Thanks in advance.

This sounds exactly the same as what we're looking for. Will keep watch let me know if you find anything....

We camped on Sparrenveld pitch 6 this summer. Its quite a small field so was reasonably quiet, good sized and flat pitch, few minutes walk to shower block, water point on edge of the field, about a 5 minute walk to the theme park, probably 10 minutes to park entrance. Only real downside was there was not much shade, I chose it for that reason (in the hope we'd be packing a dry tent away at the end of the week) but we ended up being there during the heatwave and the temperature hit 40oc.

The area we walked through to get the shower block - Hertenkamp also seemed quite quiet and had more trees around the pitches so maybe more shade but I couldn't recommend any specific pitch and some of them seemed unusual shapes/not as flat.

The nature camping field was nice and quiet. Very close to showers and toilets. You can still hear the park from there but there it is distant.

Good holiday overall. Ir's not my usual hangout (empty field with clean toilets and hot showers) but we had a good time. There were barking dogs in the morning and lots of people but they were not noisy campers.

I loved hiring bikes and the nearby beaches are nice, especially if you avoid the route that has a car park at the end as it's quieter, the dunes are pretty and great for kite flying. I loved cycling on the big dutch bikes to the supermarket in Wassenaar and pretending it was my weekly activity.

Our journey into Amsterdam by public transport actually took quite a long time and was expensive (cancelled buses) and I was surprised at how full of tourists Amsterdam was compared to when I have been before (a loooong time ago)

We were on Lindenveld- it was reasonably quiet. I was a bit worried as there were quite a few family groups around us but they were ok- I think it can be a bit hit and miss TBH. But it's towards the outskirts, so less passing traffic and mainly tent/caravan campers.

I would also second naturekamp for a quieter part.

Did you want the Netherlands for the second week?

www.campingderoos.nl/?lang=en is on my radar, but I have not been. is another one but these are based also on where I'd like to visit in the country.

We spent a few days at this [[https://www.rcn.nl/en/holiday-park/holland/brabant/rcn-de-flaasbloem/facilities RCN site] which is lovely and has cycle roads nearby but there isn't lots to do in the area without driving.
