Non-camper going to a festival - advice please!

Going to a smallish festival and camping with teenage DC. We've now got a 2-man tent, have sleeping bags and one proper self-inflating mat plus camp bed/proper airbeds.
What do I need please? Don't want too much stuff but would like to be warm at night, do a bit of food/hot drink prep and ideally not have to go out for a wee in the night.

Will you have a Trangia or a or gas burner/cooker? If so you can make a hot water bottle at night. Or a silk sleeping bag liner is a very small effective extra layer.
You can get “bog in a bag” type loos but would you have space to use one in a 2 man tent with a teen sharing? Take a she-wee and brave the portaloos.
Anti-bac liquid, loo roll and baby wipes essential!
Self inflating mats are warmer than air beds, especially with a blanket underneath. Plastic backed Picnic blankets are great for this, keep the tent more cosy.

Have a practice putting up the tent before you go, nothing worse than doing it for the first time in rain, dark, etc!

Personally I’ve always gone out for a wee, idk how you’d get around that (especially as 2 man tents can be very small!)

Some form of lighting - either head torches or a battery powered lantern. We take head torches so that when we come back to the tent after dark, we don’t trip over guy ropes and we can undo the tent zip!
If you plan on bringing drinks and perishable foods (which I assume you will), you’re going to need a cooler/ chilly-bin/ esky to keep them cold! Ice bags are often sold inside the festival campsites, so just make sure you buy a couple of bags each morning to keep all your food and drinks cold.
Possibly camping chairs - preferable to sitting on the ground.
I always make sure I bring 1 or 2fully-charged portable chargers with me to events, because they really do come in handy. While some festivals do offer phone-charging stations, I think it’s much easier to just bring your own and save the money.
If your tent has ropes, you might want to take a fibreglass hammer.

I would prioritise a chair over camp beds.

Will you even fit camp beds and blow up bed in a small 2 person tent? You need to check the set up before you go.

If it has a little porch area you could risk a bucket to wee in. Take a plastic bag with cat litter in the bottom for each night . Line bucket with bag, knot up in morning and dispose. You don’t need a massive bucket. A washing up bowl is less likely to tip, it all depends how strong your thighs are.

Small stove, kettle or pan, maybe a frying pan. Depends how ambitious you want to be with cooking, and how much washing up you (don’t) want to do.

Lots of useful thoughts there, thank you. It's on the to-do list to put the tent up and tbh it hadn't occurred that air bed and self inflating mat might not fit. Useful to know that the mat would be warmer too. I made a fleece sleeping bag liner years ago for a chilly Brownie at camp and was planning to find that.
The Ice tip is useful too.
I am intending to get a small stove to at least make tea I think.
Thanks again - have never really camped before and only done single days at festivals!

How many sharing a 2 bed? Rough rule of thumb is +1 birth per person (so 1 person, 2 bed would be ok, 2 people, 3 bed) but that’s smallest comfy space I believe.
How tall is it, where will you get changed etc? Where are you going to put all your stuff? How long are you going for?
Have a system for dirty / clean clothes especially if raining / muddy . (For example, I wrap each outfit in a carrier bag (to keep clothes dry if bag gets wet. End of each day clothes go back into carrier bag dirty and ready to just load off into the washing machine).
Check the festival rules, some campsites you can’t take gas stoves just solid fuel and they’re crap.
I’d personally just get up to use the loo, you’re going to have enough to carry let alone worrying about cat litter / buckets / tents to pee in.

Pack light camping wise, you need space for what you will bring back.

Self inflating bed mat, decent sleeping bag, pillow and hot water bottle is all you need to sleep. Make sure you're warm before going to bed. Torch, food, snacks, wash kit, sun cream, mini medical kit, water. Battery bank thing to charge your phone. Bum bag to wear and keep wallet etc in
