You wouldn't have much living space with this tent - ie, for the cooker and a table and chairs to sit and eat at if it was raining - especially if there is more than two of you which I assume there is if you are looking for three bedrooms.

We have a nine birth tent - one room for the DC's (DD and DS), one room for us and one room for all the kit, the rooms are supposed to be 3 birth - but you would struggle to get more than 2 airbeds / more than one double in a room. Then we have a large living area - so we can cook and eat in there if weather is bad. We can have the cooker on it's stand - a table to serve on and a table for the DC's to eat at, we just eat on our laps. We can move the tables to the side and still have plenty of room to sit on floor and play.
IMO - large living area is essential.

I think it would be just for the weekend and i'm not going if it rained. We used to have a folding camper and never eat in it just bbq'd outside- I was more worried about whether it would stand up to it, if it rained in the night? its hh is 2000? oh and yes we have 4 children 2 boys and 2 girls

If you are just going for the weekend then I would see if I could borrow one. You would pay that much for a bandb! If you are going to do more camping then I would look at spending a bit more for something of better quality that will last a while.

trouble is I don't know anyone with a tent big enough- happy to pay more I just can't choose!

Yup Khyam are great, they have 'exoskeletons' and go up very quickly. Mine is Khyam Ridgipod, the only downside is the lack of sewn-in groundsheet which means extra pegging which kind of defeats the object of the quick set up .

I love the colorado tunnel tent - I think as the dc's are young we would probably all actually sleep in the same pod but as they get bigger we could use the dividers?! Do they still sell the rigipod?
