Need to know more about inflatable tents

We've been looking for a new tent, really like the look of airbeams, but can't decide if it's worth the extra cost.
Do you have one?
If so, what type and do you recommend it?
Are they that much easier to put up?
Any problems with condensation?
Ever had an airbeam puncture/ deflate during a trip?
Are they much heavier/ bigger to pack?
Is it worth getting polycotton?
Anything else I should know?

Thank you in advance for any help!

I didn’t buy the Kampa groundsheet, but I am planning to use one from my old tent which is roughly the same size. We actually forgot to take it and it was ok because the ground was very dry and flat so the bottom of the tent wasn’t muddy, however I think if it was muddy (or stony) I would definitely use one as when you fold it up the groundsheet comes into contact with the tent and I don’t want my lovely new polycotton all dirty!!

I think a tarp is fine, the main thing is that it doesn’t stick out from under the tent or you can get rainwater running under the tent.

Certainly the right weather for tent testing at the moment, not looking forward so much to the inevitable drying out after a soggy camping trip with polycotton. Very, very excited, can't wait for this weekend!

Polycotton is a great move....I would recommend footprint rather than tarp as they are often slightly breathable - but def take a tarp to start as you want to protect the tent floor.....
have agreat weekend v Envy as not camping for 3 weeks !
