We are going on a last minute camping trip and haven't done it before (apart from in our younger days at festivals!) , We have a 3 yo and a 10 month old...what are the most important things we need to get organised?! (We have a tent but may get a new one we are undecided on that at the moment so any recommendations would be great)

I bought a second hand bubble cot to test out whether it works. They are so pricey!

We bought a second hand little life arc 2 travel cot off eBay. (Now selling it as she's grown out of it.) now we have a toddler blow up bed with a bumper all the way round.

Is he too small for a ready bed? Dd started in hers from about 18months. Picnic blanket under for insulation, then ready bed and extra blankets for warmth. She's always slept better camping than at home!

He is only 10 months I'm not sure if that's too small or not! He isn't tiny! He wriggles a lot in his sleep.

Hats are a must for sleeping in. Helps keep the heat in. Also, wind breakers for outside the tent so kids cant escape.

Gin.

And wine. Someone mentioned a bucket. They must have meant a bucket OF wine Grin

How is it going?!

Carrier bags for wet clothes. And wine...lots of wine...

Lots of large supermarket reusable bags

Fleece onesies for over pjs. That plus socks plus fleece blanket really helps at bed time

Decathlon do a really low folding table that was amazing. Kids could knee up at it for meals

Do you have an Ikea anticipate Highcahir? If not, beg, borrow or steal one as a means to corral the baby.

Flex buckets for carrying crap around in (e.g. To and from washing up area) can fit dishes plus washing up liquid plus clothes etc etc in it

I wish I'd had a small bin. Only a 10l on or something but plastic bags just collapse and spill the contents otherwise.
