We are going on our first Eurocamping type holiday with a 1 year old & 5 year old. Looking for advice re ferry trip, what to pack etc. Is there any storage in the tents, what should I pack
clothes in?? Will be doing a 7 hour drive too! All advice gratefully received. Kids are very excited & I really want the holiday to be a success.

Hiya :) I'm in same boat. For ferry I'm packing lots of snacks, toys, change of clothing, jumpers, tablets with films on. I plan to look up what we can do on ferry - from prekids time I recall there was an 'all u can eat' buffet which u had to book up for/ immediately upon getting onto boat. But not boys run around so I doubt that would work for us. I also think they have cinemas? THEN we've got another 5 hours in van (sleeping in it at campsite car park). I'm exhausted at the thought. Procrastinating by reading mumsnet lists

Right! Take a look at your ferry online - I've just done for Brittany ferries and found out about restaurants do kids deals, which films are showing (you have to buy tickets 15 mins after departure) and there is even a kids show on our crossing. I might get a map and photo printed out to show my 5 year old too. Anything to elongate any possible distraction.

Where are you going, and which ferry crossing are you taking? In answer to the bags question, big soft bags for clothes are the way to go, then you can fold them up out of the way. There's a good amount of storage space in the tents, but you won't want to be falling over cases.
If you have a not quite walking DC, a big groundsheet is really useful, because the area outside the tents can often be a bit dusty and manly by the end of the season.

It all depends on type of accomodation and sites, but we have had amazing holidays with eurocamp. I always find the couriers very helpful and if you have the contact details for them it's worth getting in contact in advance to ask any queries when on site as in my experience they have always gone above and beyond for us.

If you are staying in a classic eurocamp tent, each bedroom has a storage unit with 2 or 3 shelves in it, handy for storing most of your clothes. You get 'proper' beds in the tent, and there is generally a bit of space under the bed to store bags of clothes. We generally take those big bags for life that are about £1 in supermarkets. There is also usually a hanging storage thing in the main part of the tent, good for storing kids toys, sun cream etc. The tents are generally quite well equipped. We always hired bedding and towels, as it makes things a bit easier packing-wise.
We did a couple of summer trips staying in euro camp tents, and loved it.
