Readybed or something else?

Our 3 DCs will be sharing a (large) sleeping compartment this summer, and we need to find a way of preventing war! The problem is that they all roll around on top of each other, and if it's chilly they get cold (lying on the groundsheet), and they are (understandably) annoyed if woken by a sibling lying on top of them.

I've just got the older two new SIMs (old ones were v thin and useless), and we need something for the 5 year old. I'd decided to get him a readybed, so that he could be in the middle, and effectively act as a Great Wall, to stop the others wriggling about. But I'm now concerned that Ready Beds are noisy and uncomfortable. (We'd get an adult sized one).

What would you do? Any better suggestions? The 5 year old will fall off anything, so I think he does need to be contained in some way, which is why the Ready Bed seemed ideal...

You can buy children's inflatable mattresses with sides to stop them rolling off in the night. Think Argos has them for about £17

oh, interesting - will look and see. Do you know if they're any good?

We got readybeds years ago as a stopgap after we camped on a hill and the dcs' sleeping bags kept sliding off the airbeds so they'd wake up in a little heap at the bottom in the morning. To be honest they were perfectly fine, we all sleep well on them and we've never bothered to replace them, think that was about 15 years ago! Can't say I've ever noticed them being noisy. We've got the Argos ones which aren't all that thick so you do need a layer under and sometimes over as well, but then if it turns out hot it's nice to be able to adjust rather than be stuck with a big thick sleeping bag.

I would get as many sims as to cover the floor of the compartment.
no rolling off and getting cold bums that way.
keep dc awake for longer so they just want to sleep and are too tired to fight.

Our three SIMS fill the sleeping compartment and they are in their sleeping bags but do still roll together a bit... they are 12, 10 and 8 now and are fine but we have resorted to some musical beds to get a good night sleep. If we camp on a slope I try to ensure we have heads at the top so they slide down rather than roll sideways.

I often put each child's clothes holdall next to them to create a barrier between each child. Seems to work.

Intel does an excellent quality bed with a surround. It is actually huge, my 6 year old sleeps in it! The quality is much, much better than Readybed by the way (we have both) and you inflate the sides separately so if you need just the mattress you can use that on it's own. I actually slept on it (5'6") only last week (with feet on a cushion!). They sometimes have them in Aldi or Lidl and I have actually seen them in Poundland on a special purchase (obviously not a £1).

There is also this one but I haven't seen it to compare:
