Woodland campsites in SE UK - dog friendly - not New Forest?

Can you recommend anywhere please for family with 2 teenagers?

We like simple, quiet, rural, field & toilets style, no club houses or launderettes. Preferably able to walk to a pub for food.

Must be able to take our dog but he is not patient with horses, cows, deer etc so the New Forest is ruled out.

We will have our campervan (sorry) and a small tent.

Inwood, run by Canping Unplugged. Not sure about dogs / pub though.

Wardley Hill in Norfolk is lovely if it is in the right area for you.

Inwood has just moved, not sure about pubs, there weren't any close to it's old site. It's sister, Abbotstone, is near a pub. I like these campsites, basic and relaxing. Not sure about dogs though.

they look great thanks, I will check the suggestions out.

Inwood has moved, still close to old site. Lovely country pub in reasonable walking distance. Dogs are permitted.

I've not been myself yet but we're booked to go next week, looks lovely doesn't it and all the reviews say how clean the toilets and showers are.

Apparently in the morning you can hear the gibbons singing to each other next door in Monkey World!

Is Pembrokeshire too far??
Tir bach farm is great. Lovely quiet place right in the pressili mountains great views walks down the the stream. Pizza oven fired up on a weeknight. Fire pit. They take dogs but they are not allowed on the farm as the site have their own dogs.
Very friendly.
We have been there for 11 years our kids are now older teenagers but still want to come back.

thank you Smile stream (tick) mountains (tick) quiet (tick) firepit ( tick).

In the end we found a vacant pitch at Blackberry Wood which is usually fully booked. It was great, we loved it, but the glamping element at the site is definitely increasing and it is at risk of becoming too twee IMHO.

Wowo campsite in Uckfield is really good. Been there several times with children who disappear to play in the woods, streams and on rope swings. Dog friendly with plenty of fire pits. Loos are a bit primitive - composting - but cleaned very regularly.
