Warwick Castle Glamping, what to take?

Virgin camper here so be gentle... Have booked a night glamping at Warwick Castle with the aim of persuading reluctant hubby to try real camping... So it needs to go well!

What do I need to take? Collapsable chairs? How many layers are we likely to need to sleep in? What will make it go well? Earplugs?

Have young kids in tow.

Warmth is vital. If your DH is cold he will hate it. Even in summer it can be very cold at night. Take full waterproofs, loads of layers, ideally including a thermal top and leggings, plenty of warm socks. A hat and gloves are a good idea although hopefully completely redundant. Of course you may have a stove in your tent and maybe a campfire in the evenings so you may be quite warm anyway.

For the children the same with the addition of a fleecy onesie for night time and sleeping, and wellies for walking in the early morning dew even if you don't get rain. Toddlers do well in all in one waterproof suits and can pretty much spend the day in them and crawl wherever.

Bring a few blankets for wrapping up round the fire. Bring marshmallows and skewers for toasting round the fire.

Earplugs are a great idea and maybe a n eye mask like you get on flights to avoid waking too early.

Equipment will depend on what they provide but folding chairs and a picnic rug are a good idea. Also torches for everyone, preferably head torches to leave your hands free.

Maybe a table if they don't provide one though I am sure they will.

If you like real.coffee bring a pot and some proper coffee so you get a nice brew in the morning.

Toys, books and colouring in for the children. Always a ball.

Hard to say more without knowing what is supplied.

Frozen thank you, that is v handy, I would never of taken enough layers (esp thermals and blankets) or wellies. Will get on with making a list now. Can I put an eye mask on a two year old ;) ? Proper coffee sounds good :)

Warwick glamping is in proper bell tents with proper beds, so you aren't sleeping on the floor. We found good pjs were fine, they have extra blankets if you need it. There is no camp fire.

Other than that, clothes for the weather really, torches are a good call as you could be a little walk from the loos/breakfast (which is supplied so no cooking needed, in fact I don't think they would let you). There is power in the tents so you can charge things like phones etc. It's not really very like real camping I'm afraid, real camping would come as quite a shock if this was all you had done!

We enjoyed it, though it rained a lot and we got evacuated for a short time in the afternoon thanks to lightning! The evenings archery and jester school were fun, though it wasn't busy when we went so we got lots of goes of things.
