Brittany campsite recommendations please

We are planning to camp somewhere in Brittany this summer and can't decide on a site. Has anyone been to a really good one? Our kids are 3 and 6 so we would like a basic pool but not a big and busy one. We like smaller sites with maximum about 50-60 pitches EHU would be good but not essential. We are not too bothered about shop/restaurant on site but would like to be within a short drive of super market and beach. I quite like remote beaches that you drive to they don't have to be in a seaside town.
I was thinking somewhere near Carnac might be good-no real reason though. We are going into St Malo and out of Le Harve and don't want to do a really long drive to the camp site - about 3 hours max. Any ideas gratefully received as I'm going round in circles there is too much choice!

carnac is lovely.
we stayed at a castel site a couple of years ago. it is big, but close to town and beach and spread nicely, doesn't feel big.

Camping de la Baie at La Trinite is lovely. We have been there about five or six times over the last twelve years (dc were 4 and 7 first time) and have always really loved it there.

If you're going to St Malo I'd highly recommend the town of St Lunaire which is about 10 miles max away. Camping Longchamps is the far end of the town literally across the road from a lovely beach and then there's a grassy headland you can do walks on. Small shop and cafe on site but we never ate there, covered indoor pool (this is Brittany after all ), playpark perfect for your age kids, outdoor table tennis, tennis courts but not big site. Lovely. The town is small and in walking distance and has another fabulous beach in the middle. There's small shops in town and a big supermarket about five to ten mins drive away. Think it's SuperU or Intermarche. There's loads of other small beaches and towns to visit plus st malo etc. about three hour drive I think from Caen which is near to Le Havre. Getting nostalgic now!

Perhaps not quiet enough but deux fontaines in Nevez was great, there at May half term. Excellent natural beach a nice 10 walk away along a public footpath, with an even better one about 10 min drive. Lovely pool complex and plenty for our dcs (5 and 3) to do, there was even a resident (wild) lizard that the dcs loved to look out for. About 1:45 from Roscoff.

Les druides at Carnac was lovely. We stayed 2 weeks last year and it's on our list of places we would return. Great (but simple) pool, good playgrounds, perfectly clean and organised facilities and well segregated pitches. Walk to beach.

Last year we went to La Plage near Carnac which l would recommend. It's a lovely small site right on the beach with a small pool and shop. This year we are going to Des Menhirs as we wanted to be nearer to Carnac and have somewhere to walk to. La Plage is a bit further from Carnac. It's a lovely area and there are lots of sites around there. We can't wait to go back in a couple of weeks Grin

I'd second les deux Fontaines. We just got back from their. You can actually drive to the local beach as well as walk it if you don't fancy the hike! Lots of nice restaurants and pretty towns close by.
