www.belltent.co.uk/beds_for_tents/handmade_beds_for_tents/the_camping_with_soul_naturalmat or has anyone tried one? Am I better off with a sim?

Thank you!

Well...
They look bulky, heavy, expensive and as uncomfortable as futons always were, to me!

Sadly after my latest experience with my new SIM I am tempted to agree with charm (though DH who is still thoroughly sceptical of its values would be easily seduced by its apparent loveliness :o)

I'm with charm on this one too sorry!

I'd be happy to sleep on one if I turned up at a glamping site. I'd never consider buying one

I think they look fab!!! Am a bit in love with them actually!! (I have a 5 year old who is allergic to lots of foam, latex, etc so would be perfect for him!!) But sadly, no way we would have room for 5 in our car!!!

CampingClaire · 23/06/2014 11:40

Sorry...think they look fab but think you'd be achy in the morning. Maybe get one to try and keep it as a spare sleepover mattress if its not any good?

That's what used to be called a palliasse.

Go lumpy in time.

Pretty easy to make, actually.

Yep, definitely don't look like it would give a good night's sleep - and for the price of the adult single you could buy an amazon Exped Megamat (then make a ticking cover for it)
