Keycamps Voucher for a ' free' holiday....help!

My Nan (not the one with the rude song ) sent me voucher from either the Express or Mail to claim a free Keycamp holiday. The Holiday voucher arrived this morning and it all looks great except..

You have to pay for your ferry crossing through the company organising it (Landround Travel Ltd), they don't have any prices for the crossings and once you book you are committed. Has anyone used these vouchers before? I'm a bit worried that they will charge some astronomical price, that will negate the 'free' part of the holiday. The vouchers valid until 10/05 so we are in no rush, we'll go next summer if we use it.

Does anyone have any experience with these offers?

Thanks

do you have to use this ferry company? I dont know myself but my sister used to use the vouchers where you get so many nights free in a 4star hotel but you have to have a 4 course evening meal, that you pay for. This was quite expensive but it was still a good deal

You will have to find out exactly what is free (staying at the campsite?) and find out what the ferry prices are. Then compare the prices with a keycamp, inclusive of ferry, holiday.
That's really all you can do. Presumably you have a phone number for this travel company? Don't give them any money until you have found out all the prices and compared them.

I would have thought that you could get a reasonable deal using it. Surely you should be able to claim your holiday and them to give you a quote for ferries before they take any money, they can't just take money without you agreeing a price first.

Have to use them to book a ferry (part of the conditions of the offer), and there is no phone number on this voucher. Unless I'm reading the voucher wrong there is no way of knowing how much before booking (because different dates and different routes mean a variety of prices I presume), but you seemed to be committed once you book.

If I'd got this any other way (than through a national newspaper) I would just have assumed it had one giant catch and binned it, but they must give away loads of these each year and it can't be to there benefit if its one big con? I'll have to do some further investigating I think.....
