Well we loved it. The link to their website is \link(www.park-resorts.com/park_info.asp?Type=&Display=ParkInfo&AreaID=2&ParkID=19\here}

Posted the link because everything they have in it is pretty much true.

Now for my photos of the facilities
here because they never include pics of the bogs/showers/washing up areas.

It's not a huge tenting/touring site but they have a warden who lives in a caravan on site and there pretty much all of the time. His name is Phil and he is quite fit and very helpful. Camping is placed near the entrance which means the beach is a 3 minute walk. Advice for that, if you walk across the road and up onto the beach, it's a bit pebbly, instead take a walk down the main road towards Pontins and go on the beach there. It's soft sand and absolutely gorgeous I really really liked the beach as its shallow for miles and DS went demented.

The main leisure bit is new with a lovely restaurant opposite a childrens play area. We only went into the big entertainment hall last night and it was a really good night out. Very good cabaret with various acts.

Places to see:- Rye

Lovely old town. You can get the bus opposite the site entrance. The bus is every hour at 11 minutes past and costs 5.80 return for 2 adults. It was fabby and I recommend that you visit the cheese shop in Old Rye. We bought some extra mature Snowdonian cheddar and had it with red
wine & crusty bread that evening......Oooooooo. Also stopped at the famous mermaid Inn which was very very quaint. To get back - be warned, the bus doesn't go from the other side of the road, but from the bus station which is next to Budgens and leaves at 35 minutes past the hour. I am telling you this because it's not given to you in the campsite and we had to try to find out ourselves.

Hastings was lovely as well, very much a seaside town but we bought DS a ready bed out of Argos and needed to go there.

We went to Dungeness and saw the lighthouse & the Dymchurch Railway. All lovely and very weird as the drive up towards it produces lots of wooden houses and it's almost like a Shanty Town..... Lovely.

I will be going again. The only downside was this bloke who we nicknamed Quad Bike because his son had one (noisy little boy) and he was the absolute CHAV from hell, but luckily I asked the warden not to put him near us as we were booking in at the same time. Also the mens loos got smashed up one night, possibly Quad Bike..... but apparently thats not a regular thing. The showers were very clean and I liked the idea of a family shower room where we could all shower in one massive cubicle rather than a small one. They have 2 family showers & loads of little ones in the ladies/mens.

For Sally, I didn't use Ziplock bags but took stuff in Lidls freezer bags with plastic clips..... Magic and will be using that tip again.

All in all a fab hol and can't wait to go again.

Also forgot to add that the picture of the field is only a small part of the camping bit. We pitched next to the tennis courts and will never put the opening of our tent next to them again, we will face away in future. The players kept asking us to get their balls!!!
