Mega warm sleeping bag for somebody who likes to sleep like a star fish?

DH has asked me to look into getting sleeping bags instead of taking duvets (we always vacuum pack them so they take up as little space as possible).I REALLY feel the cold and always thought that duvets were warmer (always toasty when camping with duvets) but after reading a thread on here about sleeping bags vs duvets it would seem I was wrong and now on the hunt for decent sleeping bags that dont cost the eath that are also wide enough for me to starfish any suggestions?

Get a sell bag! They have arms and legs like a giant baby gro! I have one mad it very warm - it comes in two thicknesses but is a little pricey at around £70.

They are brillant and very comfy, built in sheet and duvet/sleeping bag that can be taken off to be washed. It also zips right up so you are kept lovely and warm and can't fall out if you have been drinking

And as for the couple of not good reviews - DP and I slept on ours for ages after we moved back to my family house as we didn't have a bed. Never had a problem with it going flat or not enough space and DP is a big guy.

Skinnywhippet - Thanks for the link but had better keep to a normal bag as I can see a night time wee being a bit of hassle in one of those.
SchroSawMargeryDaw- I already have a aerobed which is lovely and comfy just looking for a bag ta.The one you linked looks fab though!

I think you can get the covers separately to attach to your aerobed!

Also, if the dimensions are right then you could always buy one of the Tesco ones and use the cover from that (it's just a normal blow up bed without the covers).

I think it cost us £20 odd. They have them in store.

Can I ask, where is this to go? Festival, family camp site?

I've got the single version of this and it's amazingly warm and snuggly, but the double size is probably better if you starfish when you sleep.

SchroSawMargeryDaw- I can't find any that go with the aerobed.Think I need a thicker type as I get chilly on even the warmest of nights. It's just family camping in the U.K.

We have Colemen Hampton sleeping bags which I love. They are very big so you can really stretch out (unlike in a lot if bags) and feel more like a duvet. The only problem is they don't pack down very well if you are short on space.

I have a Vango Sonno Comfort it is SO lovely, cottony on the inside rather than slimy cold nylon. The single packs to the size of a good-sized sports holdall though, so it IS big, even as a single.
