And I spent a LOT of time narrowing down, so out of these two please PMSL!!!!!

(Know what you lot are like)

OK: DH loves the Gelert Vario 6, I'm after the Gelert Satellite 6 DLX.

We're selling our pro-action 6 man... there's nothing wrong with it at all, but we're going camping 3 times this year so it's worth getting the extra space, we only used it once and we don't want to end up selling this one after 1 use! Our main gripe with the Pro-action is that each bedroom has a door, therfore you wouldn't know what the kids are up to or who goes in there.

and \link{http://www.visitpeartree.co.uk/Home.htm\here}

the last 2 are in the summer, about a week at each!
The first one is in just over 3 weeks, Whit week!

Peachyclair · 01/05/2006 11:06

Yep, whit week for us too! Grin.

I have bookmarked your first one- we 're thinking about a trip within wales next year.

If you like Dorset, try \link{http://www.woodfarm.co.uk/\ here}; went there last year and it was faultless in every way.

So whereabouts are you based? You seem to hit the same geographical area as us

We are in Cheshire / S Manchester but being softy campers, we like the southern climate to camp in more, N Wales is only a couple of hours so it's ideal for a week though, we love Anglesey and the Lleyn peninsula too.

The third one is really near to me Lucycat! Farmer Palmers is close which is a great day out if you've got under 8's.

Lucycat · 01/05/2006 20:05

That is sooo spooky surfermum, I was flicking through last year's brochure of 'things to do in Dorset' about an hour ago when I spotted Farmer Palmer's and said to dh, that looks good for a rainy day!
and Envy at you living down there!

buffythenappyslayer · 01/05/2006 22:07

just saw that link for the tahoma,dh said thast a great price.wilday.com buy in bulk from gelert and the tahoma should sell for £299!good luck with your tent hunting!

Surfermum · 02/05/2006 17:16

There's loads to do down here, Lucycat, rain or shine. I can give you some ideas nearer the time if you want.

Lucycat · 02/05/2006 17:20

ooh yes please! we're down the 2nd week of August and counting the days already!

Our dd's are/will be as of this month, 3 and 6, so fairly easily amused still!

Peachyclair · 02/05/2006 21:18

Got the Tahoma £179.99 plus £10 p&P from an ebay camp shop: did check 100% feedback and his own 'proper' shop too.

Grin YAY!

Well done! now what do you need to go inside it?

Do we need another thread? or would that be 'camping overkill' again! Grin

Peachyclair · 03/05/2006 14:01

Got seats and sleep stuff for kids, nothing for us and no camp stove yet. Any vicarious shoppers out there.....?

Howdy! We've got one of \link{http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/pp/Cooking/Family_Stoves/Campingaz_Camping_Chef_Stove.html\these stoves} for holidays of more than a weekend, but you do need to buy the gas bottle (and Gas) and they're not cheap. Look out for offers at your local camping emporium.....

We've also got \link{http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/pp/Cooking/Lightweight_Stoves/Campingaz_206_Stove.html\one of these} from our backpacking days, we also take the kettle so it's fine for a weekend where we might eat out, or eat very simply.
