Fixed bunks in caravan - anyone?

Looking to upgrade to a used caravan and have whittled it down to either Luna Quasa 616 or Bailey Carolina. What I like about the layout is the entrance door, central bathroom and table and chair layout next to bunk so this can be left plus the area can be shut with doors so the evenings can be more enjoyable without waking them.

Just wondered what feedback if any on fixed bunks and is it so much more practical. Can adults sleep comfortably sleep in these bunks? Some bunks are triple. The caravan has to be double axle.

Thanks

We have a triple bunk Swift Charisma 565 (23 feet on a single axle); it works well for us - we have dc's 7, 4 and 1. The children can use the rear seating/table area for their activities plus the closing door allows us privacy. Using the kitchen or bathroom when they have gone to bed does not disturb them.

Just back from three weeks in Cornwall (our longest trip in it thus far) and are looking forward to the next trip.

Bunks usually have a weight limit of between 10 and 11 stone I very much doubt an adult would sleep well on the triple bunks we have a bailey ranger triple bunk and very little head room between beds but we are probably down sizing within next year anyway.

Thanks all, i am keen on this style and also seen Coachman Amara 570/6 has the same bunk bed with seat plan and think this will suit us perfectly. Particulary if the weather is bad they have their own space and see some have fitted TVs.

Just have to search in the new year for the used bargin with the perfect awning.

We have a triplebunk. At 13 DD decided she was too big to fit on it comfortably and emigrated to the awning (she was about 5'3" and 6 stone at the time!)
