Long thorns farm mainly due to size and quietness.
We also like fen farm on Mersea island but it's a very large site and if you have a runner, not best idea.

WOWO East Sussex, but depends on your views on campsites - we love open, rural sites which allow camp-fires and this is just that. Bluebell Railway next door as is National Trust with good local pubs too. Wood fired pizza oven, bushcraft lessons to bring out the inner Bear Grylls and streams to paddle in.

Not ASD but disabled and we have found the owners very understanding and flexible regarding our sons needs. Yurts and Teepees are available if you don't have your own tent.

Inside Park Dorset. Have met other ASD families and they all rate it.

I've found that sites with lots of woodland to make dens is good. Anything that can keep them distracted and interested.

We go for lots of space/not too many people (usually therefore end up in field with portaloo in the middle of nowhere lol). DS1 (7, ASD) doesn't like noise (always says he likes the countryside because it's peaceful) and big sites with playgrounds I sometimes find a bit hard because I see all the other kids running off and making friends which DS1 just can't cope with..... but that's more about me than him!
