...to the old Wynnster Raven 6?

We've got a single bedroom Wynnster Faro 5 which is brilliant, but I'm thinking forward to a time soon when the 2 dc could have a little space of his own and dh and I a little more privacy Grin.

I've found the ideal layout in the Wynnster Raven 6 but it's an old model.

Does anyone know of a tent with a similar layout?

HI, the triple dreamer www.robens.de/en/Products/Tents/Adventure/TripleDreamer.aspx here might be an option. Dd goes in one pod , ds in the pod next to us when they are bigger they will go in the one pod together and we'll have a massive bedroom! The bigger pod has a divider that you can sip in or out.....
I also saw this recently thought it was a very clever idea- defo ticks your 3,2 1 thing (better images of layout here)

Hmm, like the look and layout of the triple dreamer (haven't dared look at the price yet Confused) but liking the layout and sewn-in groundsheet of the Royal.

I suppose that I need to do some trips to Decathlon and GoOutdoors and such to get an idea of size.

And we'd better start saving!

for quite a big tent the triple dreamer packs up smallish and lightish for your car boot (20 kg compared to the 40 kg of the royal...)..... good technical tent, but they are an expensive brand....
Royal get's good reviews (as a brand) on uk camspite though...

Hmm we had a Robens once.

It was (during the hellish weekend we used it for before it was returned) nicknamed 'the teabag' as that related to how watertight it proved to be.

Shame, as on paper it was brilliant.

But then the paper might have offered better protection from the good old British weather!

The ones with different pods/bedrooms off the main area are a bitch to pitch! Tunnel tents are much easier, and require far less cider and swearing to get up! We have a Vango 600' to replace our old Vango 400+. The old one had rooms off from the main area and there was. So much strain on the poles that one of them snapped and the canvas ripped. New was is a tunnel tent and pitching is a complete breeze, bags of sleeping space and we become the group meeting place as there is a huge living area. Great when the weather's crap!

I agree, my only experience helping a friend put up a pod tent involved a lot of under-the-breath FFS'ing Blush.
