Best portable BBQ

We currently have this www.gooutdoors.co.uk/outwell-cazal-portable-grill-p141333 but as the reviews say, it has buckled and the paint burnt off after first use. We carried on with it last year but it's knackered now. Any suggestions for a replacement and it needs to pack away small (ish).

We've got one of these Not used ours yet but my DB and all his mates have them and swear by them. The special sleeve means you can pack it away whilst it's still quite warm if you need to.
It looks like they're out of stock in Amazon but I don't thik that's where I got ours from anyway.

Loubielou that site is not loading - is it anywhere else i can view it?

We do have this already www.campfirecookinggrill.co.uk/grill.html (in fact the far right pic on that page is my fire!), but we need sonething for campsites which only allow fires off the ground.

If i had lots of dosh left after buying Icey tek I would get a Weber. My BIL has one from previous years - it is rectangualr instead of the current round one, folds up in on itself, and has a lid, like the smokey joe - but the rectangular shape is more conducive to packing. It looks as good as new after a few years, not warped, buckled, rusted or peeling.

Like the 'Go Anywhere' model on this page The legs fold into it.

hillbilly · 24/04/2012 14:18

Can you believe Blu, that we had one of these years ago and gave it away Blush

I think I might go for something like this direct.asda.com/ASDA-Fire-Bowl---56cm/001670081,default,pd.html

Have you had a look at it in Asda? I saw it in there a few weeks ago. It's quite big, I'm not certain it's made to be lugged about in the back of a car, it didn't look that robust.

We've got a cobb, which is not quite the same thing, but I love it. www.lakeland.co.uk/50243/Cobb-Barbecue-Cooking-System

I'm sorry, my link was duff, try this one son of hibachi Of just google the name.

That looks good Loubielou - I was in touch with the camp fire grill people yesterday and they recommended this www.somersetfirepits.co.uk which would fit perfectly under our campfire grill. A little pricey though Confused
