Storytelling festival suitable for under fives?

I really want to go to a storytelling festival like this but not sure if there are children's storytellers there and if it will be suitable for us all.

Anyone been to one? Was it any good for families?

They do sell a family ticket but there is little information about how they cater for families on the website.

It looks fantastic. My DCs are a bit older (5 and 7).

I'd be interested to know if you find out anymore about it.

Did you join the facebook page?

I asked on the facebook site and they say:

There is a children's area with stories and plenty to do. If you look at the long photo at top of page - the multi striped tent is the part of the children's area.

Thanks tread. I tried the facebook page but the link didn't work. Was in a bit of a rush so didn't try very hard! Will go back to it. I heard about this festival on radio 4 two years ago & it sounded like such a great experience...to be drawn in by a storyteller. Exactly the line of experience I love my children 2 have. They only hold the festival every other year so I have been contemplating it 4 quite a while!

I go to the festival at the edge every year. We have 2 children now aged 2 and 4 and they have been coming with us since they were babies. Festival at the edge is fab for children, lots of different workshops and story telling sessions going on. As its a small festival it feels a lot safer. We've got a camper van with toilet and cooker etc, so it's probably a bit easier for us. You can buy food there, and we generally do apart from breakfast, there are portaloos and taps etc on site, no electric hook ups though. It is fab though, the quality of the story telling is fantastic.
