I have trawled ukcampsites but appreciate your views on here more so. We have two boys (10 and 7) and would ideally like somewhere that has some degree of play area.

Thanking you!

We're going to Golden Coast in Woolacombe in a few weeks- it's part of a holiday park but the actual campsite is meant to be really good.

My DH and his boys stayed here. I cant really comment as my DD and I stayed in a farm B & B instead Grin but they really enjoyed it. Very pretty village with some nice pubs and good fish and chips back then too!

We stayed at a big Caravan Club/Camping and Caravan club place a couple of miles out of Woolacombe. Can't remember the name but don't really think I'd recommend it - nice and clean but so exposed on the cliff top. I saw the reviews saying it was exposed and thought I'd be fine and then the tent blew away!!!! First time in ten years of camping I've left early.

Anyway one day we walekd from the campsite to Mortehoe and walked through this campsite and it looked really nice.

Oh and while you're there do the National Trust tractor ride from Mortehoe, it was fab. Its only on 2 days a week so find out which and get tickets in advance.

we've stayed at north morte farm too and can confirm it's lovely! bit windy when we went, thought the tent was going to take off at one point, but nice nonetheless!

The problem with North Morte Farm is that you cannot pre-book for camping, so it's pot luck as to whether there's sapce available when you get there.

We stayed at Warcombe Farm and I can recommend it.

Amazing loos and showers, lovely nature walk area to run around in. Has a playground and sometimes a fish and chip van.

VivaLeBeaver That sounds like Damage Barton.

Oh, you can book Warcombe Farm in advance, btw.
