I'm researching campsites around Paris for the end of June and would love you experiences. I would appreciate any advice or recommendations. We have all our own gear but wouldn't rule out /9stopping in a eurotent or accommodation instead.

Have stayed in a mobile at Maison-Laffitte which is a short train ride into the city centre.

ah, thanks Chippy! That's one I didn't find. There are so many... we only want a day at Disney. We've been before and our youngest will be thrilled with that. We would like to be able to visit Paris too but that's not a big priority.

In that case you probably want to be the other side of Paris. Most of the eurocamp-type operations have sites to the east of Paris. You might get a better response with a thread for "campsites nr Disney".

We have stayed here a couple of times as have PiLs. It is a good site and runs trips to Paris and to Disney.

Gnome, we're staying there for 3 nights in July en-route south. It looks lovely.

We've stayed here several times. It's perfect for Disney (about 10km away), very peaceful site. There's not a lot at the site, other than a shop/reception and small playground, but it's in the middle of a leisure park and the beach on the lake is fab on a hot day. The people who run the site are very friendly and helpful, and you can buy Disney tickets at the reception if needed.

thanks all. I think International des Jablines might be perfect. We had friends stay there (years ago) and I wondered if it would be too "basic". The price is brilliant - I have got a quote by email.

La Croix du Vieux looks fab and, from what I've read, seems very popular.

We stayed here last May half-term for the week in one of their medieval tents, which was fab. They also have mobile home/chalets or you can take your own tent, v reasonable. We did a day at Disney, it's about a half hour drive I think.
