What is Manor Farm in Cromer like in the rain? Am due to go tommorow and the weather reports are not good - does it flood? Get very muddy or is the drainage pretty good?
At the moment I'm stuck in dorrs because of heavy rain not even able to go pout to buy our last minute food etc!

We went last week of July, and had a great time.

We were lucky enough to only have a couple of spells of light drizzle, and 1 heavy spell of rain, which was on our last night.

We were on Molls Meadow, which has quite a slope in some places and our tent held up well in the rain.

The ground is very sandy, seemed to drain quite well and because its sandy ground didn't get muddy.

Hope you have a good time, despite the weather, it's a lovely site.

I'm afraid we went last year in August in glorious sunshine so I have no idea about the drainage. It's mostly on a hill though so it shouldn't be too bad, and the tracks will probably be fine.

It's a brilliant site though. It feels like miles from anywhere but a short walk down the farm lane takes you straight to a large supermarket! It's so handy for getting breakfast without having to worry about keeping things cold.

Have a lovely trip!

When we went last year in August it was also really sunny. Rany the site and they said it has very good drainage so shouldn't get too muddy!

It rained a few times last week when we were there and no mud - I think the slope must help.
ds1 and 2 really enjoyed the non-sunny days (Bure Valley Railway and Bewilderwood were extremely popular).
