speedos & eurocamping in france

somebody please tell me dh is being wound up - he's been told he can't wear bathers in the pool at l'atlantique in brittany - and that he has to wear speedos. believe me, the world is not ready for 16st of dh in lycra.....

ilove - get your dh to do as mine does. He wears his frenchmens knickers underneath his usual swim shorts to walk down to the pool, then only takes them off to swim

Bollock when he has stopped ranting I will suggest that to him.

I know, i remember the first time we went. dh was appalled and of course we hadn't brought any, so he had to buy some lovely brown striped ones at the camp shop. i pmsl but didn't dare let him see.

The next day we went to a sport shop and got some slightly better ones. 15 years later he is just about used to it.

one year on a ski trip the public pool had speedos to hire!!
always take them to france, just in case. depends on site owners, had it enforced at some eurocamps but not others.

We will be taking both types, my 11 yr old ds refuses to wear speedos, can you get them for his age? I will be looking in Sportsdirect.

I can understand the ruling but Speedos - blurgh!! Thought only Tom Daly wore them

Decathlon is another good source for cheepo-speedos, being a French company and all.
