You look great !
great determination, which has paid off
go girl !

RaisingH · 22/04/2023 18:49

For those asking for tips and advice it literally is consistency, after a bad day you just have to forget it and carry on the next day.
Initially Saxenda, alongside calorie counting, was what helped me but I realised I couldn't rely on Saxenda forever so stopped it in early October but carried on CC.
After a 2 week all inclusive with no calorie counting and a 5lb gain I came back home determined to carry on and I did. At Christmas I allowed myself a few days of no counting and that promised myself I would get back to it after that and I did.
I am determined to have a healthy and strong older age and that is what keeps me going.

@Wc100423 when I first started to CC I used Saxenda as well and would eat approx 1200 calories per day.
Once I stopped Saxenda in October I stuck to 1500 calories per day plus I excercised - mainly 3 mile walks and strength training.

Thanks I’m waiting for a specialist appt to see if I can take saxenda I would pay for it privately but I have an underlying health condition so need to see a specialist. I have given up alcohol this week and exercised everyday. Next week I will calorie count and try to stick between 1500 and 1750. Thanks for sharing your journey and the tips 😀
