Nutrition details added as pic...

Usually I weigh my portion before cooking. Can't do that with a whole bird.

Does the chicken weigh the same after it has been cooked?
Is this nutritional value after it has been cooked?
How do you know how much the leg weighs?!?! I'd usually have a leg but thinking breast easier?

So confused

The chicken will weigh less once cooked.
The nutrition is post cooking - it says oven baked at the top. If you batter and deep fry, it will tave a higher calorie content.
You either need to weigh it out onto your plate post cooking, or Google average weight of roast chicken leg/breast and work it out from there. Dont forget a leg will have bone in it if you weigh it between carving and putting on your plate.

Yeah was thinking I would need to weigh it out post cooking. Was just trying to think think of. Way I could calculate it earlier and so work out how many potatoes I could have.

Guess I'll just have to say for e.g I'll have 200g and that's that

Just weigh it cooked and find the relevant values for that. Breast meat is different in calories than brown meat.

ApolloandDaphne · 24/01/2021 12:25

200g cooked chicken is quite a lot.
