Just thàt really. I feel I need a way of tracking my intake. I have an iPhone and a free app would be ideal, but I don't mind paying if it's going to work!

My Fitness Pal is pretty good. You enter what you've eaten for your meals & it works out your calorie, fat, carb, sugar intake etc.

Another vote for MFP here, it's quick and easy with the barcode scanner (and free!)

Although ever since I've updated it seems to have become a bit passive aggressive Confused after giving me a reminder that I hadn't logged my food for EVERY SINGLE MEAL for about three days, it popped up with a lovely "these reminders don't seem helpful. We'll stop them so they don't bother you" note. Talk about laying on the guilt trip!

Oh yes. The 'ooooh, that's full of saturated fat that is (tassimo latte)'. I just ignore it Wink

BUT - I do like that you can copy favourite or frequent meals from one day to another, make recipes you can keep to use again, make lists of your favourite foods etc. Plus add your exercise for the day.

Fat Secret is another option, MFP wasn't a good fit for me.

Ooo. Thanks. I'll have a look and give it a go. I used to be so good at watching what I eat, but after having ds I just seem to eat whatever is there. I'm not massively overweight at all, but could do with losing a bit before summer. Any other tips would be fab too.

With MFP you can set your own goals & rate of loss as well as lifestyle (eg sedentary, light exercise etc). It will then calculate your calorie, fat, sugar & carb 'allowance' accordingly.

I use 'my net diary' which I think is pretty much the same as mfp
