How can I escalate a complaint about bullying and inappropriate touching?

I am raging is the only way to express how I’m feeling right now and can’t get it out of my head.

My DS was touched on his privates with intention at school today by a boy in his class. This boy and my DS don’t get on and there’s a bullying log book in place with the school already. This same child molested a little girl in reception year and just last week molested another girl in the same class, now year 2.

One of the reasons that I’m so upset about it all, is that the teacher told him he shouldn’t be stood up anyway - bearing in mind this was during lunch club where they’re free to do what they want and not in the classroom. This response from the teacher is not acceptable. Additionally after what happened to the little girl last week, the school have done nothing and the child is still in attendance, but the little girl hasn’t been back to school since.

I realise that what happened to my child is nothing compared to the girls but it still shouldn’t have occurred. Neither should the teacher have treated the incident like she did and it should have been reported.

If this happened as adults the person SAing would be suspended pending investigation and I believe that the same treatment should apply to the little boy, and had the school done that then this incident with my DS wouldn’t have happened today.

I am really unhappy with the school for lots of different reasons and want to move them, but we’re potentially moving next year so don’t want to put them in another school before changing again.

Is there a way that I can go above the head and governors to complain or do I need to follow the stages? Can I go to Ofsted and will they do anything?

child safeguarding at your local council if school are refusing to act.

Are the police involved? Not really sure how these things work but I would go to the police. Vile, abhorrent behaviour.
