I have worked in company for 25 years in last year have been unwell off and on due to stomach ulcers caused by stress a lot of it due to trying to make ends meet. I was told last week no pay rise which made me ill I didn't call into work as too ill for 2 days. This week my manager went off leave and her manager asked for us to have call I said if about bonus I would rather not know she said no but didn't tell me what it was about I assumed that it would be about me not calling in it was as first then it was the tone of sms to manager unacceptable, I said if it come across that way it wasn't intended. I am so upset that my manager didn't speak to me first, if she felt offended by it. The details of conversation with senior manager were emailed to me on Tuesday I had put it out of mind so I could focus on work and not stress. Got chased today to respond, I apologised for not calling in but as so sick surely there are expectional circumstances I did also say that it was a shame they didn't afford me the courtesy of telling me what call was for, the manager had 24 hours to advise me, I asked what call was about if about bonus her response was I told you at start of call, she didn't I spoke first apologising for not calling in, she then asked me what policy was and as my manager had texted me it on Friday I said this is policy so then it was so you knew it, not knowing what call was about I was on back foot on call, again mentioned in email today that manager had sent me policy and was told well you didn't say that on previous call. I can never trust my manager again I am so going to struggle to be nice to her she has made lots of mistakes even putting my wage details on screen during a video call with multiple people I said nothing to HR teased her a bit and reassured her it was just a mistake. They are wanting to cut jobs at 62 if I lose my job I lose my house

I do struggle to see if someone has two days off work they are to sick to even send a text message. I would understand if hospitalised but in the kindest way possible that seems quite unreasonable on your behalf.
It sounds like your manager is struggling with the relationship so has asked her manager to step in, this doesn’t seem like bullying to me.

You didn't call in to work for 2 days because not getting a pay rise made you too ill?

Whatever the reason, it is unacceptable to not make any contact over 2 days. Even over 1 day.

your interaction with your manager sounds dysfunctional. You would do well to treat them with respect, which isn't the same as "being nice" to them.

Also if your manager accidentally displayed details about your wages to others, teasing them about it is not an effective way to resolve the matter. It should have been "Manager, I know it was a mistake but I was embarrassed when you openly displayed my personal information about my wages on your computer screen" rather than giving mixed messages by minimising that error if you were upset about it.
