How should I deal with this?

DS and his friend fell out at the end of year 6 and are in the same form in year 7. Hie exF seems to have it in for him and is trying to get a rise out of him. My DS has already been told off for one said rise, back in the early weeks, but hasn't done anything since.

Examples:

Boy has been goading my DS to punch someone and hustled the boy forward into his face.
Boy has got another boy to hassle my son and between them, they exchange messages about my DS. So DS says, I have no proof of this.
Other boy stares at him all the time and when DS looks up, gives him filthy looks.

Today is day 3 and I am tired of this already. It has been every day this week. I've told DS to stay away from him but the other boy is proactively looking to get a rise out of my DS.

What can be done about this? I think it looks like I am just trying to get my own back as he got my DS into trouble a while ago. I am not. I just want him to move on and make new friends and leave DS alone, as does he.

So sorry that your DS has to deal with this!! I think you should try and report it to his head of year via email and perhaps they can change this boy's form or there can be consequences for him. Otherwise just tell your son to ignore it as best as he can and avoid it as much as possible. It's not sounding too awful so far so maybe you should wait for a week longer to see if it calms down or the situation escalates
