Does anyone know of any self-help books for children which suggest strategies for dealing with bullying at school, ways to increase confidence/self-esteem etc.? I'm doing my best to boost ds (10), but floundering a bit, and resorting to advising him to be nasty back Blush, which he's reluctant to do.

This is very sad and moving.

The ends says

A working day is not like that
And a school day?

It is not advice but it does show how 'the system' seems to deem acceptable for children what we as adults would not put up with (in most cases).

For anyone with children being bullied there is an excellent whiteboard animation that many have found very beneficial. Hope it helps you.www.jw.org/en/bible-teachings/family/teenagers/whiteboard-animations/beat-a-bully-without-using-your-fists/
