I’ve been breastfeeding for weeks and am looking to get a breast pump just so I can use on odd occasion of time out of house or having a spare bottle made up at home for partner to help with a feed, so I’m not looking to spend £100 on 1 electric pump , tried the manual one and it just takes up to much time sat there pumping it, can anyone recommend a electric breast pump that won’t break the bank please ☺️I’ve had a look online but there’s to many options it’s overwhelming, so am looking for a reasonable priced one just just to see how I get along with it , have purchased so many things as a first time mum and half of which don’t get used , running out of money for trail and error 😂 so any recommendations and reasons why would be greatly appreciated

Sorry, but the cheap ones aren't worth buying. You'll get nothing but frustration. I got an old style second hand medela freestyle and replaced all the parts that come into contact with milk.

I have one that I unfortunately can’t use

Agree with pp - you need a decent pump or you're literally just throwing money away as you won't get enough milk to leaves for a bottle!

Vinted is your friend. The spectra S1 is the most recommended pump. I use the Eufy S1 asy wearable and it's good. Both can be picked up for under £100 second hand

I went back to work at 5 months so had to pump. By then the baby could go 3h with minimum grumbling between feeds which is quite a reasonable gym session. You might find you don't actually inputneed to pump unless you want to be out all day

I’ve ended up buying the lulia electric pump off amazon, 2 pumps was about £50 and honestly i think it’s great would recommend it, thank you everyone for your advice! My little ones only a couple of months and we can manage being on the go walking or shops without her getting restless even for a couple hours but if I go somewhere and I’m still and she’s just in the pram she kicks up a fuss , so far she’s struggling to even take the bottle with the breast milk in but practice makes perfect , thank you all
