How to introduce the occasional bottle feed?

Hi, I'm a new mum (baby is 6 weeks tomorrow) and I've just received my breast pump. I was planning on EBF however some days my baby just wants to feed constantly which leaves me unable to get anything else done.
We've ordered the pump so that if he does have days like that then my partner can take over a feed once a day or so to free me a bit of time to walk the dog or if I need to do a food shop etc (plus it's a nice bonding experience for baby and dad ....and a long soak in the bath that I don't rush to finish would also be amazing)!
This being said I'm really enjoying the breastfeeding experience and do not want to lose/jeopardise it and I've heard about disrupting milk flow/nipple confusion. If I'm only planning on bottle feeding once/twice a day max, when is the best time of day to pump and is there anything else to take into account?
Any help on the matter would be gratefully received...thanks in advance!!!

I'd say its really unlikely that your baby will take a bottle. Ideally you should introduce a bottle earlier. I managed to mixed feed my two from the off but my friends who waited until 6 weeks had no luck.
Maybe try a bottle now with a little bit of formula? It will save you the effort if you find out whether baby is a bottle refuser.

I introduced a bottle after 6 weeks going off lactation consultant advice.
My baby took to it no problem.
I offered an ounce of breastmilk in a minbie bottle and I offered this just after a feed so that she wouldn't be hungry and frustrated at not being being put on the breast to feed.
We also chose Dad to offer the first bottle incase me being very close and the smell of my milk confusing her.
She took a bottle if I needed to be away from her for 4hours plus so she had a bottle of breastmilk maybe once every 4-5 weeks from 6 weeks old. She started fully refusing the bottle at 9 months old but then she could have food so it wasn't a problem
