I had appalling colic with my first for 3 months,so when it came to DD I cut out all dairy. I drank soya milk (def no dairy in it). look v carefully at all lists of ingrediants as things like biscuits had dairy ingredients. Lots and lots of hidden dairy! I took calcium tablets and vitamins. My DD never had colic but then again, I was too traumatised by my first experience with DS that I never risked dairy until 3 months was up.! Good luck, but also mention to your HV what you are doing.

have just read your post from previously. So LO is 7 weeks adjusted. So could def be colic still. It stops quite dramatically at 3 months so if still at it in 5 weeks look more closely at reflux as more common in prem babies. Have you tried colief? can be bought over the counter or prescribed (expensive!) this did work with my grandson to some degree. My DS was a 24/7 job until 3 months so you may need to grit your teeth

I am seeing a dietician at the moment as my daughter had a milk protein allergy and i have been adviced to only drink either oat or rice milk as babies that have an allergy to cows milk products can also have a reaction to soya products. usually the only reason you would cut out dairy is due to an intolerance in your baby but there may be other symptoms than just colic? i.e very runny, green or mucusy nappies, being sick, my daughter also took a reaction to formula milk where she came up in a rash. Ask your health visitor or doctor to refer you to a dietician if you can. i got further in finding out what was wrong with my dietician in an hour than i did with docotos in 8 weeks. good luck!!
