Breastfeeding & weaning

I'm a bit confused about the amount of milk by daughter should be having and how much solid food. She's 6 months 3 weeks old and we first introduced solids about six weeks ago. We BLWing and at some meals she gets a decent amount into her but at others she mainly just plays with it and doesn't really eat that much. Now I've heard two different (at least I think they're different!) pieces of advice on this, one is that she should be having as much milk as she was having before we started weaning as it's BLW and because of the food is fun business, but I've also heard that she should be having about 18-21oz of milk a day and as she's always been BF I just don't know if she's getting this or even if she ever was.

If I hadn't gone back to work I wouldn't worry about it and would just be feeding her when she wanted to which is what we've always done - and still do do on weekends. But I don't always have time to express during the day and she has one or occasionally two bottles of formula (depends whether I've expressed or not, it's always 2 feeds) each day.

So I think she's having 10oz (-12oz) during the day, a feed in the morning, a feed around 5pm (as soon as I pick her up) and a feed before bed around 7pm. She mostly also wakes up around 11pm for another feed - does this sound like a normal / the right amount? It actually sounds like more than 21oz when I write it down.

Also, as she latches straight on at 5pm and then falls asleep for half an hour and we do bedtime routine at 6.45ish she isn't eating anything solid in the evening on work days - is this bad at her age? Should she be on 3 full meals a day?

I'm very confused

Oh and nappies etc are normal (if a bit more poo-y) and please don't tell me to do a yield with a breast pump as I know she can get way more out than I can.

I think you'd feel a whole lot better if you stop worrying about how many ounces she's having. You know that you can't measure how much breast milk she's taking so whatever she wants is fine. Don't forget that at 6 months, she'll probably be really efficient at taking what she needs in a shorter time so it's very hard to tell amounts.
At the beginning of weaning, most babies have tastes of solids (like you're giving her) and often the actual quantity they eat isn't that much but it's all good in getting them used to it.

Just carry on the way you are - her usual feeds, a couple of bottles if you don't manage to express sometimes and feeding on demand throughout the day and night. She really will let you know when she wants more food and when she wants to drop a feed. As she gets older and consumes more food, she might play for longer without her naps and decide she rally isn't fussed about a midmorning feed for example and so it works itself out.
