Projectile vomitting and EBF

DS2 is 8 weeks old and EBF. I sucessfully EBF DD and DS1.

Unlike his older siblings he's a pukey baby, if often a bit sick, although thought it was better recently, but has got worse again and today he puked up half(??) his mid-morning feed and all/most of his 6pm feed in a projectile way whilst lying down after a feed. This morning I fed him again 2 hours later and this evening as it was bed time I immediately fed him again, although not sure how much he got as he'd already taken a full feed and had already fed from each side. I have loads of milk in the morning - often only takes one side in the morning, but I have less milk later in the day.

I do burp him but maybe not enough - I think the problem is caused as my let down is very fast so early on in the feed the milk is very fast (it sprays accross room if he comes off). Also I will try and remember not to lie him down after a feed.

I will mention this to GP at check this week - I'm not esp worried about him, he's putting on weight and has now slept all night (8 hours) two nights in a row.

But I wasnted advice on what I should do if it happens again - is it best to wait and then feed, or to immediately fed again? Any other tips welcome.

I think some babies are just chuckers. DS2 seems to be a bit.

I tend to do one boob and then give him a bit of time before offering the other. My let down is not particularly gushy, but he is a lovely little piggy who likes to suck it down fast (as even been known to try to hoover up the vomit if you are not quick enough, yuck!).

I actually find lying him down and letting him have a bit of a "rest" in between works better than carrying him around/holding him upright - as he usually has a short nap after most feeds, this is pretty easy!
