Rice is usually a good bet.

Drink plenty of fluids, don't worry too much about your milk, it will be fine.

Sorry you are feeling so rubbish.

Don't eat fruit! The classic tummy bug diet is dry toast (maybe scrape a bit of marmite on it if you like it, or a tiny bit of jam for some sugar), plain boiled rice (not very appetising I know) and clear fluids. Lemonade is good for a bit of sugar, as is flat coke (not diet coke). Avoid dairy, fruit and veg (too much fibre). I've had norovirus while bfing and my milk supply wasn't affected at all BTW, but if you can manage to keep feeding you will provide your dd with some useful protection against the bug. My dd was only 8 weeks old when I got norovirus and I was sure she'd get it but she didn't!

I will give rice a try thanks, I am having difficulty with water but I am holding enough down I think. Thanks I am sure I will feel better soon. You think my milk will be alright then that makes me feel better.

Nooooo not marmite that would make me worse. Strange you said about the fat pop I have been finding it easier than water, thanks will try toast to.

Sorry flat not fat . Glad your dd was ok and your milk unaffected.

marmite, you either love it or hate it. I guess you hate it! I love it and the saltiness always makes me feel better when I'm sick.

Info here on bfing when you're ill - says to keep up your intake of fluids to avoid dehydration, and keep feeding often.

Thanks a lot I was wondering whether to get some formula in but I can see it is not needed, Dd has been feeding often and I have been drinking loads eat a piece of toast so hopefully my milk should be fine.
