My 5mo baby will only take her formula if it's really warm, is this ok?

I breastfed for 3 months but it wasn't working out so I switched to formula. My DD will only drink it if it's really warm and sometimes half way through I have to put the second half back into to warm it up as she just won't have it if it's cold. It's definitely not hot to drink but it is probably warmer than the recommended temperature.

Is this ok? Could I possibly be doing her some harm? She's nearly 6 months old so I've been doing this for nearly 3 months but twice now two separate people have commented that it's too warm but it's the only way she'll have it.

When you think about it your DD has been having breastmilk at 36C for 3 months so would be used to milk served at quite a warm temp.

It wouldn't be safe though to warm milk up twice so you'd be better off making up two bottles.

You would cool the 1st down under the cold tap to her drinking temp while leaving the 2nd to cool down on it's own. It would probably then be ready for her to drink then by the time she'd finished the 1st. Bit of a faff but reheating formula (or any baby food for that matter) isn't advisable.
