I know you don't need them but I stretched out a lots of shirts last time and I'd like to get some specifically for bfing this time. Any suggestions of where to buy decent ones?

I got some from Mamaway, mmm.mamaway.co.uk

I think the cotton or cotton mix ones washed better, I had some that went a bit bobbly. They they have sales and special offers often so I have had some bargains. Not all the styles are to my taste, but they have quite a selection.

The customer service is really good though, I got a top in the post with a mark on it and they sent the replacement really quickly for me.

I haven't tried any others yet, I have heard that H&M have some, but I've never found any.

I found a good selection at H+M (not online unfortunately) and also Jojomamanbebe (who are).

I found the vest under top option very useful for bf wearing normal tops and pulling them up without exposing tummy flab.

We don't have an H&M near us but I'll have another look at Jojo, I like their maternity stuff.
Thanks for the link jaggy

clevermummy, bellamama and motherwear are all pretty good. Motherwear is US based though so shipping is quite pricey but I found the tops very discreet compared to some others. Got a couple of nice dresses from those sites too.

www.mamaway.co.uk where did the mmm come from

amberflower · 08/05/2010 22:09

Agree re jojo, I have bought some lovely feeding tops from there, and also a couple of nice ones from blooming marvellous too (also online)

pop1973 · 08/05/2010 22:11

Be careful as some bftops are really expensive, new. Try and have a look online for some second hand ones - Mamaway are nice, Blooming marvellous t-shirts that lift up are good and JoJo have some nice ones.

hobnob57 · 08/05/2010 22:16

I bought a couple from blooming marvellous too. I found that the crossover style where there is a fake underlayer in the middle (sorry, not describing this very well) were flattering but an absolute pain to feed from. Gave me blocked ducts. I much prefer the less pretty t-shirts with the under-bust shelf that lifts up because it doesn't constrict your boobs and they work well as under-tshirts for layering.

Lionstar · 08/05/2010 22:17

I've never found one as comfortable to use as a loose vest top under a regular t-shirt

MrsMotMot · 09/05/2010 08:12

I use these, I have a white, a black and a red one and as they are bras inside (and better than just a shelf bra) they are supposrtive and easy.

I wear them underneath normal tops/wrap dresses and it makes boob access a lot easier. They are not cheap, I know, but have been worth it for me. Ebay might have some second hand ones and I once came accross one in a charity shop for £3 but it was sadly the wrong size!

ahem, supportive

HiccupsAllDay · 09/05/2010 08:12

try a breast vest (sorry can't do link), it's a light weight vest with the top cut out, wear it under your normal clothes then you don't have to buy loads of new tops.

Bara Glad tops are very nice: funky prints and very good quality, although a bit pricy. I lived in my three tops for well over a year (and then gave up on wearing nursing tops and just shoved whatever I had on, out of the way! ).

chipmonkey · 09/05/2010 23:09

I had a Bara Glad dress and a top and they were very good. Have to say, I thought Bara Glad was a person but then found out it means "Be Happy" in Swedish!
