yes, as I've just posted on another thread I'd recommend biological nurturing for big boobs (might need to form a wee ramp with a folded muslin when the baby's wee)
much easier to do with big boobs than any of the midwife taught positions and much better on your back

I've got big boobs too - and if anything find them a real boost when feeding in public!F or both my DC using a rugby ball hold helped in the early stages.

Can't see how biological nursing would help in Costas???

Best advice is to get some good fitting nursing bras.

lal it really does, especially with a newborn be baby sort of sits on your leg facing you - much less shoulder ache than rugby hold. And easier to stay discrete if that's important to you because with biological nurturing they latch themselves back on if they come off - you dont have to see what they're doing and line them up and get them latched back on IYKWIM - so you can just stay covered

It doesn't really sound like it works till you try it. We are so used to rugby holds and cradle holds because that's what MWs teach that they now look/sound more natural to us - all of the BFing posters are cradle holds not biological nurturing, but I read on The Truth About Breastfeeding that if you let people who've not had any breastfeeding teaching just get on with it, they will naturally find biological nurturing positions rather than the MW taught positions

Just forget what you've been taught (unless its working for you) and give biological nurturing a try. It was like a breath of fresh air for me
