5 month old 'forgotten' how to breastfeed?

I've been EBF for 5 months with a bottle of expressed milk each eve at 10.30pm - I had serious pain at first with cracked/bleeding nipples but rode through it and it got better. Since those first few weeks feeding has been absolutely fine and DD was happy both on breast and bottle until about 1 week ago when she has started ruining my nipples again. I've noticed that she's not taking such a big mouthful and gets really frustrated when the mil doesn't come in quick enough (I feel the letdown so know when it's on its way!)It's become agony to feed her again (looks like she's sawing off the nipple!). It's possible she's been teething for the past 2 months as soaks a bib within an hour, chews like crazy on anything that goes in her mouth and wakes every 1/2 hr to 1hr at night (fun!). Has anyone else had a similar experience? Anything I can do to help her to remember how to feed and stop nibbling??
thanks!

Yes, I found rubbing bonjela teething gel on about 10 mins before a feed helped.

The kellymom website is very helpful, although you probably know about it already . Lots of tips on there about biting too.

I certainly found it did start to get better again and they stopped biting after a while. It was a stage, just a painful one.

In regards to sore nipples, I'd be tempted to use some ice to numb the area before a feed and after to wash it well with salt water and also give nipples plenty of air (when at home) to help healing. As recommended on various websites x

thanks for the advice - as tempting as it is, I will strive to keep my nipples covered when wandering round town

Also at 5 months and also having to put up with crap latching and impatient for let down. No suggestions, just my sympathies!
