She normally goes to bed with last feed at half seven and wakes at two,a long stretch I know but she cluster feeds most of day and is gaining weight well. But last night she slept thru till six!Am worried this is too long for her to go without a feed? She is not unwell and is happy, alert and feeding well today.

My DD did the same at around this age. It only lasted a week or two and then she was back to waking at least twice a night, unfortunately. I'd say don't worry if she has plenty of wet and dirty nappies and appears alert and happy. Like yours, mine cluster fed a lot in the day so she was stocking up for night time.

mine did same - it didn't last long! enjoy it! take advantage, stock up on your own sleep ready for possible monster 3/4/6 month growth spurts!

I agree with the others my 6 month old slept through at about 9/10 weeks for a few weeks but then had a growth spurt and we were back to 2 hourly feeds!

Hoooray! She slept through the night! Yes - as someone else said - enjoy it and give yourself a pat on the back!

She'll be fine - dd was ebf and sometimes slept for 14 hours - occasionally waking for a feed at 6am and then back to sleep til 9.

I cluster fed from about 4.30 - 7ish.

Enjoy the sleep!

Go with it! My dd did this from 10 weeks and I was concerned so asked the HV. She advised me to wake her up for a feed at 11pm which I did for a while until I realised that this was utterly silly... let sleeping babes lie, I say and make the most of the sleep. One sensible thing my MIL said with regard to babies was: this phase too shall pass (and this applies to good and not-so-good phases). So true!
