EBF attachment issues...anyone else or is it just me?

DD is 19 weeks old and EBF. For the last couple of weeks whenever somebody else other than DH or myself has had hold of her or given her attention the bottom lip comes out and she cries until they either hand her back or moves out of her view.

The last few days she has begun doing it even with DH. Last night i went with my elder son to a school Easter Bingo. DH and DD came too but once DD was fed and asleep he took her home. When i got home an hour later DH was in a right state saying she awoke and after a few mins of what he described as looking around for me she began crying uncontrollably, bright red and nothing he did settled her. When i came home he was so distressed by it and so was DD. When i took her from him she immediately stopped screaming.

Just wanted to know other mums experiences. thanks in advance

my little girl is a like this though the degree varies. she is 24 weeks. 2 weeks ago it was at the peak I think. i am not surprised as she is a very attached little baby and I care for her myself all day every day until OH comes home just in time for her bath. we have no family nearby so maybe it was inevitable.

she has reflux and her whole life so far she has had to be held for 20-30 mins after each feed because of her vomiting...she also spends a lot of time in her sling and doesn't do so well playing on her own like her little friends do. I have no idea if this is a problem or if she will just catch up but I don't worry about it.

OH can't settle her to sleep at all, only my boob can do that. it is a little frustrating but I just have to accept that she is a product to some extent of having reflux and being in so much pain.

Who knows ey?

I think this is a developmental thing and absolutely nothing to do with how your daughter is fed!

It's annoying but will pass!
