Can I have a glass of wine every night while bf?

I would love to have 1 small glass of wine with my dinner as it really does help me relaxing, especially after carrying around all day in my arms my 11 wk old baby who suffers from reflux! If I have the wine at 8pm and then feed the baby at around 1am, is it ok? Can I do it every night or should I just do it 1 or 2 times a week? Thanks!

why the funk not??

realy i think all the stress put on women about this is bad for BF - don't worry about it.

Go for it - a glass of wine with food is fine. My french neighbour told me that her midwife told her to have a glass of fizz a day when she had her DD to help her establish Bfing..

I'm another big fat yes. Anything that helps you feel more relaxed has got to be good, and would agree with others that it helps you to bf longer if you can enjoy the things you used to. Beer is good too .

I have a glass of Guinness about five night a week, while breastfeeding.
