Does it really matter in the grand scheme of things? It is recycling after all.

5inthebed · 03/08/2009 21:49

Why would it bother you? Seriously? I'm sure there are far more important things to worry about.

Really? Honestly? Get over it.

onepieceoflollipop · 03/08/2009 21:51

Let it go. Or if you really can't make some sort of decorative cover and offer to cover it as a kind of art project for your dc?

LuluMaman · 03/08/2009 21:52

I am pro BF and anti advertising of formula ,but i honestly think that protesting about it will make you come across as a bit of a loon.

careergirl · 03/08/2009 21:54

our pens and things were kept in SMA tins when I was at primary school - must be a primary school thing!
Does it really matter in the scheme of things? its a baby milk tin not a banned substance!

SolidGoldBrass · 03/08/2009 21:54

OH FFS get a grip. If you do anythign at all you will risk labelling your poor DD as 'the one with the mentalist mother'.

sandyballs · 03/08/2009 21:54

and in equal measures. This has to be a wind up!

glucose · 03/08/2009 21:55

what are you doing in school in august?

bristols · 03/08/2009 21:56

TeamEdward - and ours! I can still remember the lovely, sweet smell.

frimblypoo · 03/08/2009 21:56

Surely a wind-up Dr Watson?

piscesmoon · 03/08/2009 22:03

It is a handy sized tin-end of story-it must be a wind up!

nannynick · 03/08/2009 22:06

They make good drums as well

glucose · 03/08/2009 22:06

wish I had thought it up, it is very funny

pippibluestocking · 03/08/2009 22:08

Definitely a wind up - it's the summer holidays!

sandyballs · 03/08/2009 22:24

Actually, thinking about it, i would definitely mention it or else the class of 2009 will NOT breast feed in the future, that's for sure.

My dd (10) and I have had many discussions about formula and breastfeeding. I am counting on her to indoctrinate the next generation by telling them about the Nestle boycott and the work of BabyMilkAction. If the subject of baby feeding comes up in class I'm sure she'll say something - she's so mouthy! (chip off the old block!). I suggest you educate your child in the same way rather than worrying about the pencil tins too much.
