When the books say a growth spurt at 6 weeks, do they mean A. after the start of six weeks (42 day)?
or
B) completed 5 wks and now in the sixth week of life.

Is my overanalysis showing?

i think it's pretty flexible alux! it's just around 6 weeks-ish

KateandtheGirls · 24/05/2005 12:45

Six weeks means at age 6 weeks, as far as I'm aware.

moondog · 24/05/2005 12:46

Ahh,bless you for being so concerned alux!!!

Never understood all that stuff myself, and even more confused second time around.

Ditto teething. I swear, one day I looked in dd's mouth and there was a full set!

I can't remember if DS had a growth spurt at 6 weeks or not .

To be honest, whenever he seemed to want to feed more often, I would assume it was a growth spurt and then I didn't worry about it too much .

Lonelymum · 24/05/2005 14:08

Never saw any of these growth spurt jobbies myself. I wouldn't read too much into it if I were you. Just go with the flow. I take it you are b/feeding and expecting an increase in demand?
