I am so determined that I am going to successfully feed DS2 due in July after not being successful with the other two. I have had a breast reduction which may go against me but other than that, I really want to give it a good go.

I will take it one feed at a time and have already visited a la Leche counsellor and know the details of the baby bistro.

I have a pillow, a pump, breasts .

What else do I need to get? I am thinking nipple shields for worst case scenario and lansinoh.

What else?

Moaningminnie, I would love your lansinoh if you have definitely finished with it. I'm on [email protected] if you let me know how much it will be- thanks .

Will have to look on Bravado, as I have a narrow back, I'm a 30F normally and gone up to a 32G at the mo and thats before milk comes in, so they might not have my size.

Are bf bra's essential, can I just hoik the cup down?

Unfortunately moaningminnie, I will have the school and playgroup run in the morning- so no getting out of that.

Hi there,
Just wondering how you are getting on? I have a similar concern as I have also had a breast reduction (but depressingly am back up to a G cup now pregnant - though overjoyed about being pregnant!). Due in Nov and had a depressing appointment with the consultant last week who stated that after a reduction I wouldn't be able to breastfeed - definitely. I was upset as the surgeon who did the op told me I had a good chance of being able to. This consultant was very judgemental and basically implied that I had been selfish having the reduction (I had it because large breasts on small frame were aggravating prolapsed disc, also the reason I'm under consultant care). Anyway, I said that I had been told I might be able to and would wait and see - then left and cried!! Let me know how you get on...Good luck.
