Hi all, im currently bfing my 5 week old dd and plan to do so for about year if i can.

Iv found that nursing bras, altough very useful are absolutely awful and dont really fit under your clothes well (unless you wear high neck tops..)

I was wondering had anyone found any nce nursing ones with any other shape than triangle looking cups.

Im a pretty young mum and id like to be able to still wear lowish cut tops without having to worry about awful bras poking out im a 32 DD so i need abit of support..

anyone??

thanx girls

Bravado, all the way !

I am well endowned (36F at present, just stopped BFing) and they are comfy, come in colours, have no scatchy bits (I hate lace) and were good to were day and night.

Today first day back in normal bra, hurray!

Here's a link, but other retailers sell them too

Congratulations on your baby! I agree with you about nursing bras- I don't wear what I would describe as low-cut clothing but my bras were showing out of anything lower than a crew neck. I finally got round to getting some new ones this weekend.
I got an Elle McPherson one in the figleaves sale which is lovely- much prettier than my normal, non-feeding bras! Unfortunately they only have 32C in the sale but there were plenty of other non-sale ones.
Also got this which is fairly low cut.
Both of those are quite pretty so even if they do show under a top they don't look too bad.

Try looking for Hotmilk nursing bras - they have some at Figleaves.

If you do find any that you like, please let us know on here. I'm a flipping 32h and quite frankly I look like i have sack of potatoes under my tops with these awful royce bras that do nothing for you, but i haven't found any others in my size

I'm considering sewing the feeding bra clips onto normal bras to try improving my bfing wardrobe.

I'll be checking put the hotmilk ones too...

this lady comes to the bf groups near me to give fittings and advice, her website does unlimited free returns which I think is great so you aren't stuck with something thats not right?

Have you ever looked at this?

I got one of the foxey tops as a pressie.

I've just bought an Anita underwired nursing bra from Figleaves and it's a bloody revelation - the right size and provides actual support instead of making my tits look like the last two tangerines in the net.

Hi "Look at www.asos.com/Women/Maternity/Cat/pgecategory.aspx?cid=5813&Rf-100=Lingerie+Sets&sh=0&affid=1021&WT.s rch=1&gclid=CMGVkOznlZoCFQienAodOic0Lw", bit younger than most styles. Was always told to avoid wired nursing bras as could play havoc with your milk ducts.

cyteen · 29/04/2009 10:55

Yes, my son is 8 months now so bf is well established - probably better to avoid wired bras while your supply is still establishing/changing.
