Do cow & gate comfort do ready made cartons?

Anyone know if cow & gate comfort sell ready made cartons? Thinking I'll have to switch to it as DD has bad tummy, advised by health visitor that I could try it, but will miss not having ready made cartons for when I'm out and about. Looked on their website but they don't mention it.
Thanks.

No they dont sell them.Ds was on comfort for a while and i phoned C&G and they said they couldnt put it in cartons as it was too difficult because of the milk structure.
Ds had it for a while as his silent reflux was getting bad and we tried this as it's so thick.
It worked a treat.
You probably already know this but you have to have a fast flow teat no matter how old they are as it's like sucking porridge through a straw for them otherwise.
And the poo's.......are dark mossy green in colour!!!!

Ok, now I'm confused. Check this out.

Yes its very misleading isnt it.

To be honest when i formula feed I just to have cooled boiled water in a bottle and have the formula measured in a dispenser that you can pick up from mothercare. I rarely used ready made cartons as they work out really expensive.

Sheeta · 26/04/2009 20:44

no, afraid not.

You can't make it up with cold water either as it goes very lumpy.

In my case I very carefully sterilised bottles, made in advance, cooled rapidly and kept in the fridge for trips out. Never in the fridge for more than about 16 hours.

Get a good cool bag and you should be OK.... but yes, I feel your pain - DS has comfort milk for 6 months.

Sheeta · 26/04/2009 20:47

Oooh, just remembered actually.

Found that the odd carton of C&G stage 1 didn't do DS any harm, as long as he was on the comfort the majority of the time he was OK. just be careful not to shake the bottle once you've emptied the pre-made carton into it - swirl it instead, otherwise you get millions of bubbles that really upset them.

Thanks for the tips, Sheeta!
