I saw real life biological nurturing for the first time the other day.

I know all the theory, I have seen the videos, but I was completely amazed to see my sister's new baby doing biological nursing for the first time last week. Round these parts in the hospital, they are calling it laid back feeding which I think is quite a cool name for it.

Anyway, baby hadn't latched for about the first 17 hours, so I showed my sis the laid back way and the baby was on in less than 5 mins!

I am just blown away at seeing it for real. I so wish I had known about it when I had my ds.
